The new Medicare Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM) is a significant change which will require in-depth, detailed training and planning. - Review the chapter specific ICD-10 coding guidelines for diagnosis codes included in Primary Diagnosis Clinical
Category “Non-surgical Orthopedic/Musculoskeletal” for the Other Orthopedic PT/OT Clinical Category.
- Identify the steps for correct coding for some common SNF diagnoses from this Primary Diagnosis Clinical Category.
